Carmen Learns Chess

Carmen A. Jones is a bright and geeky child who has a deep love for space exploration and NASA. One afternoon after school, she had to go visit her grandparents, as they were going to teach her how to play chess. Being a child, Carmen misunderstood her parents and thought they were calling the game "chest" instead of "chess". So, she embarked on a long journey with her father, older sister, and younger brother to reach her grandparents' house. The ride was incredibly long, and she had to endure the complaints of her younger brother and older sister throughout the journey. However, upon finally arriving at her grandparents' house, Carmen was able to forget the tiresome journey and wholeheartedly enjoy spending time with her grandparents, while also developing a newfound love and appreciation for the game of chess.
